OK, what parts of Florida don't have snakes, bugs, and alligators?
I grew up in Clearwater. No alligators, but plenty of snakes and bugs.

The worst -- anywhere in Florida -- are the fire ants. You don't know you've stepped in them until its far too late...

...kinda like getting stuck with a couple of dozen used hypodermic needles simultaneously.

Battling fire ants is an exercise in futility. Poison one nest and they just build another. Kinda like squirrels. Remove as many as you want and another will take its place.

I thought most of it did ? Gator's in the swamps, aren't their poisonous snakes all over too ? Or maybe the only poisionous snakes in the US are Rattle snakes and they aren't that far East ? I guess IDK

I bet there's lots of creepy crawlies tho

Sure, all of Florida is like that, What I was asking for what what part you like, which presumably do not have this inconveniences.
I like some parts of Florita ...{/quote]
Florida was named for its flowers by Ponce de Leon. He apparently forgot to mention those other things. Sort of like whoever named Greenland forgot to mention a few things too.
