How to simulate the Offset voltage of an op-amp in LT-Spice?

You can add a small battery in series with one input terminal, either the inverting or non inverting terminal. You can try it on one terminal first, then with the other terminal, or just reverse the battery to see what happens with the opposite offset polarity.

Typical values for the battery voltage will be 1mv to 10mv.

Note this test is for testing using a constant offset voltage.

 

Many op amp models already include some offset voltage based upon their specifications.
You can readily check that by connecting the plus input to ground with the minus input connected to the output (with the op amp properly powered) and look at the DC output voltage.

 

Just set the amp to unity gain. Vos will appear like magic!
