In the wintertime in New England, there's likely no way solar heat alone of any form will keep you comfortable (unless you perhaps have a few hundred square feet of solar panel).I am planning on living in my vehicle next winter in New England.
Suggest you insulate the inside of your vehicle including panels for the windows, find a spot to park where you can steal power from a nearby main's outlet, and run an extension cord for an electric blanket and an electric heater.
With that you might survive.
