Eagle Grid Dots and Rotations

1. In Eagle 7.6, is there a way to make the grid dots darker?

2. When I rotate a component, the refdes and value rotate with the decal. Is there a way to rotate them back to normal orientation ( and move them to a different location) while leaving the decal rotated?
