I realized that later. I understood it as a flip from left to right. Sorry.I didn't change the orientation of the board, just flipped the board upside down thats why the emitter is on the left side.

Just because a simulation appears to function does not mean that it will function that way in the real world. In most simulators a resistor does not fail just because you dissipate 20 watts in a half watt resistor.Hey guys, yes those were my initial thoughts as well as I was tracing the circuit. I have double triple checked it.
Also I'll add that the simulation also does work.
