I have a machine (lathe) with NPN outputs for a robot interface and the robot being used has PNP inputs/outputs. Attached are the drawings for my lathe interface. Could anyone assist with how I'd drive a relay using signal Y3.5 (lower portion, second sheet, E32)? I'm also not clear on the "COMG" signal if anyone can help clarify.

I will double check the Fanuc 0i connection manual, but I would assume COMG is Common(GND).
It would appear the output contact for Y3.5 switch to 0v as shown.

Unfortunately the manual does not offer alot of help regarding the robot I/O.
I skimmed through section 9 that covers I/O but did not reveal much, you may get something from it if you don't already have.
