Is there any possible way to use only NAND and NOT gate to make a OR or NOR gate? thanks!

D Dave Joined Nov 17, 2003 6,969 Oct 9, 2008 #2 Yes. For an OR-gate take two NOT-gates (or two NAND-gates with the inputs tied together) and feed the outputs to the inputs of a NAND-gate. For the NOR-gate just cascade a NOT-gate (or NAND-gate with inputs tied together) on the end. Dave
