Hi All, New here - First post. Thanks for putting together such a great thread. I have a Newair AW-181, and I was going to do the cap replacement, but misplaced the caps (long story), and just to expedite things, I sourced a new FX-101 board from eBay. With the old board I had the issue of not keeping the temp correct, and no cooling. With the new board, it gets too cold (45 degrees on display). Bad board, bad display board, bad temp sensor ? Newair tech support says bad temp sensor, but of course they no longer have the part. Any help appreciated.

Tech support might be right, so I'd start by checking the reading of the temp sensor against another thermometer. The challenge is to find a thermometer you can read through the front door, or maybe a probe on a thin wire you can place inside. When the sensor says 45°F, is it really that cold?

Do you think the FX-101 board could be defective ? Even though the old one that probably has bad caps works correctly for a short time.
