Hi All,

am trying to use LTSpice to simulate and SCR for snubber calculation unfortunately am lost when this error pops up

not sure where to get the model. One model i found is attached but lack the knowledge on how to use it.

Any held or suggestion to resolve would be nice.

2) I put this `non porn` in in my LT and it works just brilliantly. WHAT is wrong with it? That SCR is not closing?? Of course it will not close until the DC of main power circuit will not be interrupted at least for small moment.
Or simply You didn`t pushed the button with running man symbol - "RUN"??
3) if the aim is snubber, then probably power circuit is 50 or 100 Hz instead of DC. Then use an appropriate box from menu to define that is rectified AC.

 

D1 and D2 will turn on its respective SCR at the start of each half cycle.
As configured the opto coupler cannot turn them off.

If you put 5V directly into the opto coupler's input without a resistor in real life as you show in the simulation, you will zap the opto.
