I just use AdBlock Plus.

But I am curious about Brave.

How do websites that dislike you blocking ADs handle the situation when you visit those sites?

With AdBlock you are given the option to disable it or go f....yourself. :p Sometimes you get an option to simply visit the site "this time".

Sites don't react, it seems the design of Brave fundamentally hides ads, I only discovered Brave while searching for a way to stop Youtube forcing me to subscribe and pay to avoid ads. They were doing this like a year ago or so, everyone was complaining at the time. Ad blockers were unable to help, somehow Youtube knew you had one and on that basis tried to force you to subscribe or simply not watch.

I tried Brave and it worked like a dream, Youtube stopped insisting I pay and ads everywhere just stopped appearing.

It is rather annoying that it cannot update itself, and every time it is opened, it tells me to reinstall it.
