I'm looking at powerline adaptors to use my house mains wiring to network some IP cameras. There are quite a few configurations, but one thing I am not sure about is the different between the 1 to 3 way, and the 3 way to 3 way? (the number of ports on each plug)
1 to 3 way : http://uk.tp-link.com/products/details/cat-18_TL-WPA8730-KIT.html
3 to 3 way : http://uk.tp-link.com/products/details/cat-18_TL-PA8030P-KIT.html
I know there are differences between wifi, power pass through etc, but my question is specicially related to when I would need a 1 to 3, and when I would need a 3 to 3?
What I want to do is have two IP Cameras on my garage, and have them wired into a powerline socket in the garage. And then have the other powerline socket next to an NVR inside my house.
