Yeah...they're awful difficult to handle. Are you sure it's not a flux capacitor? Too bad we can't implment them with a PIC and some assembly code.

 

Yes, a 0.1uF capacitor is required for the F2F decoder to function with the MCU.

0.1uF?!? Yowzers! That's almost a hundred thousand picofarads!!!

I think the flux capacitor is a better choice. It costs less. (Amazing, really, to find such a low cost item in the DeLorean catalog.)
