Hi,

Check the number and see what the manufacturer's spec says. You could also put it in a low-voltage circuit with a resistor in series with the voltage source to the drain (collector). Put 10 volts on the gate and see if it is conducting with the applied polarity.

can't use a 10 volts as my circuitry is using a 1200 voltage...rite now i only have a N-Type specs and i need to find a P-Type with the same specs as the N-Type...
