More details please. Does this “program” normally acquire data from a probe?

 

This can range from a small custom programmed unit, through a manuf. unit to part of a factory floor data collection system.

No, it just streams video, but I wanted to add a few things without having them in the video permanent. Like a temp prob and a few others. So basically video with temperature and humidity prob. Though I want to be able to place the readout in the corner and then minimize when not needed.

You are going to have to be way more clear. Do you want to do video interlacing to existing video? One of them I can think of is Kodi which ia a media player but maybe way over blown for what you want to do.

 

No its not like Kodi, though its interesting and I'll look into that more at a later time. I'm trying to embed the input from the probes into the video feed. Like how some flight software allows an ADS-B input so you can look at your piloting charts and have the aircraft in the area overlayed on top of that. Yes, thats the best example, basically I want to run several video inputs that I can bring up separately and have the temperature and humidity from each aquarium overlay-ed in each video. I'm looking to raise some bugs and some of them can be tough since I live in the desert.
