I am trying to put together an 9V powered intercom circuit that I can plug two single-sided cellphone headsets into. I plan to use this as an intercom between two people on a motor bike.
However my electronics knowledge is limited and I don't know if my ideas are sound or not. I would appreciate any help you offer. Circuit jpg is attached.

 

The amps you have drawn up will not work as is. Just as a suggestion to get you going sooner, take a look at the LM386 - http://cache.national.com/ds/LM/LM386.pdf. It's made for applications like yours.
