Hello electrical engineers and fellow hobbyists. I am having trouble identifying the Video input signal for this TFT LCD I took out of a broken Portable DVD player. I have found the Datasheet for the LCD : http://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/attachments/a085fw01-v5-auo-pdf.119610/ But i dont know how to find the inputs. Included are pictures of the LCD (front and back),What i believe to be the Control Board, and Portable DVD drive motherboard. All help is appreciated.

The datasheet has the Pin assignments and timing sequence of pins.
What do you want to use for this lcd?
Sorry I put the wrong datasheet this is the correct one. I want to be able to display video on the screen by snipping an RCA video cable and soldering the video signal and ground to the LCD. I basically want to turn it into a monitor.

The VGA connector needs the basic signals as below:
1. R
2. G
3. B

13. hsync - horizontal synchronisation
14. vsync - vertical synchronisation

5. GND
6. RGND
7. GGND
8. BGND

Your LCD connector didn't provide the input pins of signals hsync and vsync, so you have to find out these two signals as pins 13 hsync, pin 14 vsync in the PC VGA connector.

The 6-RGND, 7-GGND, 8-BGND can be combine from R,G,B signal, you can find out from the page 5 in the following links.

This VGA video signal generation is very useful for your applications.
