So i found this laptop motherboard. When checking i notice one component was missing/damaged. Need to identify it and open to sugestions how to repair it. Motherboard power and stay powered but no display.

Not good idea.. and worse if you don't know why they are there. Did you try good searching? I think that you can find the board online.
On the other hand, I suspect the inductor to be 0.39 uH because of the R39 marking.

You can't short it out, it's needed for the smps voltage converter.

I'm suspecting the missing part was a Schottky Diode.
