i recently build a digital clock out of 7447,74190,7400,7410,7490,7476 and anode common segs. the question is how can i incorporate a am /pm indicator . i think i can use my flipflop and nand gate but and not sure from there. please help.

 

Before we can do anything we're going to need a schematic. Words do not a schematic make.

 

The indicator is usually a LED, but that schematic is necessary.

 

ill have to get the schematic on later dont have a way to scan it . its not a big deal really just learning and having fun with some ic's.
