Probably won't need a fan in this application, the treadmill most likely being alot higher loadingPlus, the attached pulley provides the fan (cooling) for the motor.
Well I managed to Nuke that circuit board plus an extra one. I did come across another free treadmill so I'm trying to hook up the new one now. Maybe you could let me know how to hook it up. With how it is right now it pops the breaker instantlyQ2 is a SCR S4020L, a common device and should be no problem finding a replacement, hopefully that is the only fault.

I kind of hooked up the power feed and the motor incorrectly. It doesn't pop the breaker now. As far as repairing the blown one I nuked more than just the one pieceSo did you try and repair the blown one? It could have also taken out the MOC3052 opto isolator.
The controller you show now is a different type, PWM control.
Does it pop the breaker without the motor connected?

Thank you soooooo much. Even though a majority of your replies are Chinese to me I really do appreciate the help. They were really cheap so I bought three of them just to be safe. I shall update you when all is done and working hopefully. The new treadmill I just got came with a Beefier motor. Not sure thats a real word. That one is a fairly basic PWM controller so it should be a little less noisier and smoother running, but you should ensure the pot is at minimum at power up.
Especially if you retain the flywheel.

So when I turned it on and it pops the fuse on my new little pwm circuit thing.did I wire this properly? The first one went boom.View attachment 151969
