Apparently you hijacked a thread and were given your own without any context.

Do you have adequate supply decoupling and a snubber diode on the relay coil?

Such problems are usually the result of:
  • poor ground layout
  • poor power decoupling
  • lack of a relay snubber diode.
Any of those seem likely?
