I am confused here. I have some MV2109 Varicaps and the datasheet says one thing about the range of the capacitance and many websites say something else. I know I should trust what the datasheet says but why would a website, or many of them for that matter, say some other range?

I know it is a stupid question but I just want to know.

 

The datasheet is quite likely correct. That supply store may have copied the data incorrectly for their catalog. And one site may have then copied this incorrect data from the other. Most of these sites don't have the time to verify all the specs they publish.
