Hello,

Depends on how the diak is partitioned.
I have Vista and Suse linux on one PC.
On my system the disk was in two partitions.
I schrunk the second partition (it was a datapartition for vista).
This can most times be done by the partitioning software of the linux installer.
I mainly use the SUSE.

I can say for linux with lilo loader that it will work, there is even no need to manually setup. what is needed to set your boot partition on linux one, where you instaled lilo(not on master boot). during lilo instalation you will get prompt for chosing your windows partition. On boot you will choose form win or linux.
seting your boot partition is done for example with fdisk or similar tool.

Hello,

You can better use GRUB in stead of lilo.
When a kernal update is done you have to poit to th enew kernel with lilo.
GRUB does not have this problem.
