Hi everybody,

I want to know if it is possible to use a single PLC with multiple input and output voltages on a single PLC. Since the inputs and outputs are grouped, can I connect 120VAC and Neutral to a spesific group and then 24VDC and 0VDC to another group, enabling me to get inputs and outputs of both AC and DC voltages on a single PLC?

The PLC in question is the Mitsubitchi FX5U-64-MR/ES, it is a relay output type.

User manual shows relay outputs certainly -



Input specs only show DC as input condition however.

Thanks, this clears things up.

 

I would place the Neutral on one side of the load and switch the live conductor with any fuse in the live side, for safety.
