Anyone using MPLABX v5.35 with assembly and using the debug step-thro etc.?
The Debug Menu is all greyed out?

Do you have a debug tool defined in the project settings?

 

Is it " Debug -> Descrete Debugger Operation->Launch Debugger"?

 

I'm not near my computer. You need to define a tool in the project settings before you can activate the debugging feature.

 

There doesn't appear to be any kind of guide under the loaded files for v5.35 ?

 

I've got version 6, but you should be able to click on project properties and see a window similar to this:



Under Connected Hardware Tool, you must select a tool. If you don't have a hardware tool, select "Simulator".
