I bought MPS EVM B/D. EVM NO.EV2639A-R-00B

Have you tested someone MP2639A MPS Chip?

MP2639A chip is 2 cells Li-Ion and Li-polymer charger I.C

So, I want to use MP2639A for our company product and already tested MP2639A Chip.

But MP2639A Chip always turn-on /CHGOK led even not connect Battery.

I just want to use very simple /CHGOK led.

For example, 1. Charging ----> /CHGOK led ON
2. Charging complete ------> /CHGOK led OFF
3. Not connect any battery -----> /CHGOK led OFF

Number 1 and 2 are good work for me, but number 3 was wrong.

Could you let me know how can I improve this kind of issue?

Reviewing the data sheet.
I think that this device does not support a removable battery circuit.
The batteries should always be connected.
