The Bedford Incident
There are no winners.
The Russian interpreter was a sparky like I was.
My critique:

1. Captain talks too much. Loose lips sink ships.
2. Did Doc have a role in this movie, or was he just fodder for the torpedoes?
3. Why launch four nuclear-tipped torpedoes when one will do the job many times over?
4. The stars of the movie, those water-tight bulkhead doors that saw action with every GQ, were completely useless in the end.
5. Doc: "Mind if I smoke?" Russians: "Sure. Here's a light."

1. He is god and was told by greater gods to talk. Nuclear torpedoes sink ships.
2. Fodder
3. The sub commander didn't need to save any for later. Four was all they could fire before our nuke got him.
4. The god of the ship already said they were useless
5. The 'Nazi' told god this was going to happen.

6. Why was Wally Cox in this movie?

I don't know if I posted this already. The short is 10 years old already, and I consider it a masterpiece example in storytelling. And being the father of a special kid, it still touches me to the core every time I watch it:
