I've been watching "Against The Ice" on Netlflix ... a very, very good movie about polar exploration. One of my favorite subjects. Very commendable.

I was wondering what the heck that was. Not some simple prop for a movie at all. That and all the destitute terrain and destroyed buildings. A true Apocalypse movie at its finest.

No, it was very real but they did use CGI to expand the dimensions of the array for the movie. That damn thing was a really good HF jammer too.

Something completely life-changing just happened. The world has been forever altered by a discovery on the Tamagotchi Collectors Discord. Along with unnamed collaborators, the user rhubarb_pie figured out how to unlock secret characters hidden from the virtual pet community since 1997.

That's a big deal, considering Bandai only started releasing its egg-shaped digital pets in 1996. As 404 Media noted, players were previously only able to raise the blonde twin fairies as pets through a glitch. But rhubarb_pie, in an extensive guide posted to Discord on June 5, managed to detail and document how they retrieved both the little ladies and "an undocumented secret character" on the 1997 Mothra Tamagotchi.

Check out A Man in Full on NetFlix. Book was by Tom Wolfe and main character played by Jeff Daniels. Not altogether a comedy at all but Jeff always has some comedic parts to play but plays a very serious character in this one for a change. Not going to give any spoilers but the ending is hilariously dark. It's a 6-part series that should be binge watched by all means!
