For Christmas night I'm watching Apocalypse Now. I took a out-rigger boat tour up the river where the movie was filmed about a year after the release of the movie. Most of the sets were still there in the jungle and on the beach.

A crazy story set in an absolutely wonderful place.
I saw this movie with several friends. I was a smoker at the time and lit up in the parking lot. What I didn’t know was that someone had messed with my lighter. When I went to light my cig, the lighter flared up a foot into the air. After having seen the movie (“I love the smell of napalm in the morning.”), I jumped so high in the air, I fell over onto my ass on the asphalt! Never forget that movie.

I just saw "What we do in the Shadows". It is a very funny mocumentary about vampire roommates. I watched it second time almost right away only to find out that I missed a lot of jokes the first timr around

"Dough" only got 6.2 on Rotten Tomatoes, but not a bad little movie.

Spoiler:
An old Jewish baker struggles to keep his business afloat in the east end of London until his young Muslim apprentice drops cannabis in the dough and sends sales sky high.

Redbox, DVD rental in just about every supermarket in the US. You can also rent a movie from a streaming service, including your cable provider or Amazon Prime (with a FireTV stick)

Second time I've watched "About Time", with Rachel McAdams, Domhnall Gleeson and the-never-disappointing Bill Nighy.

And also the second time I was deeply moved by it. Good movie, with an excellent message.

I guess I'm a little different than everyone else here and my movie taste is not what some would say is main stream.
It's also a little risque but not to the level of bad
I tried to find a section with no vulgar cussing or inappropriate parts.
