Glad to be here gents and ladies.
Boyer Bransden Ignitions for British motorcycles which for twins is driven off the camshaft (1/2 speed) with
1 magnetic pickup for each cylinder. One wire each pickup coil going to the CDI unit.
I'm setting up a crankshaft mounted ignition using 1 pickup coil from an Enfield Bullet.
This pickup coil has 2 wires with continuity between them.
My plan is to use this single pickup coil connected to the Boyer CDI unit.
My problem is not knowing how to wire this up .. I'm not familiar with the internal
wiring of the Boyer CDI unit.

The 2 pickup coils on the Boyer are connected so they would be sending a signal every 180 defrees
to both spark plugs. with my proposed 1 pickup coil crankshaft mounted spark would be every 360
degrees to both spark plugs.
So I think the each wire from the single pickup coil could be connected to each wire on the
Boyer CDI (which are fed by the 2 Boyer pickup coils wires)

@ madass140 You would probably get more answers if you gave the data of what you're working with, instead of making members guess what you have, good data gets good answers.
