Motor board controller

Hello,

I would appreciate very much if anyone can assist me with solving this problem.

My treadmill ( nordic track C2000 ) ran for a second and stopped even under no load condition.

After searching the web for an answer, I’ve replaced a mosfet ( IRFP250NPBF ) on motor controller board and the machine ran successfully on various speeds under no load conditions.

Once we tested it under load, it went back to square one, ran for a second and stopped. Now it is doing the same even under no load condition.

Any suggestions for next step?

Thanks in advance,
Sebastian

Hi Max,

The board number is MC-2100 REV B. Also written as MC 2100-WA on the white sticker.

It’s an older version with external transformer. Please let me know if you need anything else.

Best regards,

Ideally the best way to trouble shoot these boards is with the main MC2100 board on the bench with a PWM simulator signal into pin 4 of HD2.
There is also a reverse engineered schematic available here using a search.

Hi Max,
Thanks for your reply.
Actually I am not a person that is knowledgeable enough to do the things you’ve mentioned.
If I replace the whole motor controller board, would that solve the problem?
Kindly advise.
Best regards,
Sebastian
