i cant find the name of my motherboard.how can i find it.

 

See if sysinfo will bring it up. If not, you might try downloading a copy of Aida32 - it's pretty good at finding what hardware is in a computer.

If your computer is from an outfit like Gateway, going to their site and entering the s/n of the unit will bring up that info.

 

i dont know if this gives the correct information,
try running dxdiag from run option in the startup menu..
see what does system model reads.

 

The information should be available from Device Manager:

- Right click My Computer on desktop and select Manage

- On the left select Device Manager
