Hi. can anyone advise on the pros and cons of Chargepump/IC/transformer drivers for MosFETs. I suspect that a transformer would be good for an isolated switch, but for non-isolated primary side switch for a flyback transformer, I am not sure.

The IR2110 series has the advantage of only two simple extra components, cap + diode, needed and interface the low and high side inputs signals.
