Hello and welcome everyone.
I did recently register on forum however I didi follow it for some time. Im beginner prop maker and cosplayer looking for help with my project.

Im looking for momentary push button to work with two circuits, while button pres for example half way circuit 1 is on, when button press fully circuit 1 and 2 are on.
Similar like in power drill while pressing trigger deeper rotates faster however i need to feed two circuits one after another.
Unfortunately my lack of technical language takes me nowhere in search for such a switch.
Best regards to all

I don't know that they make an off-the-shelf device that will do what you want.
Why does it need to be done with one push-button?
What exactly are you trying to control?

Hello thanks for reply and suggestions. I will look in to it. Basically I'm making MINGUN replica / prop from game FALLOUT 4 and I would like to have trigger witch after pressing half way will start spinning barrels and while press full will add sound effects of firing gun. However this kind of switch will be useful I'm many other applications as well. Thanks for reply again.

Hi there check my page on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/smpropsandcosplay/
maybe I can help :)
It looks like you have the ability to fabricate whatever you want on the mechanical side - instead of having a rare, hard to find two-stage momentary switch, why not use two standard switches?

If you made the trigger such that it's back side was shaped into two irregular cams, side by side, you could use cheap, easily replaceable roller microswitches, and you could shape the offsets between the two cams however you want to control the span between the start of the motor and the start of the other effects. Admittedly, more fab work, but simpler electronics sourcing. Just a thought.

Here's a poorly drawn sketch to illustrate my idea, and the switch type I'm referring to:

P.S. Here's an image for anyone who didn't want to Google what that gun looks like:

Hi there thx for reply fact is I can make switch probably myself however I was wondering if there is something already made ( I'm really restricted with space if comes to this project handle needs to be strong to be able hold all wepon prop so I'm using very strong plastic kind of shaped bar hence there is limited space for switch however will re-conceder construction...

Going back to the use of a reed switch, you could use two reed switches that are offset. So when you pull the trigger, one will be activated then if you pull harder the second would be activated. It would be a game in mechanical design though. Even in the "Wired Camera Remote" above there are likely two buttons within the mechanical enclosure.

Also, I know that paintball markers have "e-switches" that you could likely take apart and re-use for your purposes.

Good luck!
