Hi all,

I am very fresh in the field of electronics and do not really know where to ask. I hope this forum can be helpful!

I just bought an old Monacor wattmeter: https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/monacor_stereo_wattmeter_pm_100st.html

After I got it home I discovered that it needs VERY high volume for the needles to move. Power output of my amp is 95 W.

Another wattmeter I found online, Realistic APM-200 (http://revintages.com/realistic-apm-200-vu-power-meter/) has two modes to switch between, 0-2 W and 0-200 W, and in the 2 W mode, it does not need the sam high sound level for the needles to move. In this video you can see the difference between 2/200 W:

Can I somehow modify my device to reduce its power range? Or any other appropriate modification? I really don't care about the values it shows, I just want the needles to move beautifully to the music. :)

On this page you can find the schematics of my Monacor unit: https://github.com/spacerace/Audio-Power-Meter
