Be careful about what you choose to believe. I googled "power supply simulation video" and the first hit was this. A full wave rectifier driving a zener diode with no current limiting resistor!! Plus an LED in parallel with the zener also with no current limiting resistor. The "narration" was text in a language I couldn't read...

The bridge rectifier is composed of LEDs too!

Missed that. Because of the animation blinking the diodes, I ignored that side of the circuit.

There are some people who actually believe anything and everything they see on the net because they don't know enough to do otherwise.

My PSA's have annoyed at least one other AAC member; he hasn't been around for awhile now... Maybe I'm responsible for that too...

I can see that being annoying. According to Google, "PSA = Prostate-Specific Antigen (test)". .

I guess that would be...

Wikipedia had many possible meanings for PSA, but didn't have Public Service Announcement. I've seen the acronym used for that meaning in other AAC posts; usually trying to decide if someone's initial post was a PSA or blatant advertising.
