I have an Invacare Auriga scooter, with a flash code of seven flashes pause repeated flash code which is the code for speed pot error, I have replaced the speed pot with a new pot like for like , not second hand, and the error still exists,, checked all the usual, connectors cables etc, but am at a loss, any suggestions would be helpfull

From the manual:

Number of flashes: 7
Fault: Speed Pot Error
Impact on Scooter: Drive inhibited
Notes: The throttle or its wiring may be faulty or incorrectly set up. Contact your authorized Invacare Canada Dealer.

If you replaced the pot, then somehow you found out it was faulty. Did you measure it with a meter or was it physically deteriorated?
Can you show how you wired the new one?

If the pot's good then logic dictates that either the circuit module it connects to has a fault, or the wiring between the pot and the module has a problem.
Is there a vague chance you can obtain a schematic of the module?

The speed pot, hare - turtle and the wig-wag had been vandalised , the speed pot just kept rotating no stop point that is fed by 2 white cables from the pcb via a connector looking at the pot from above I connected what seems to be a feed wire of the 2 white wires to the left terminal of the pot and the other to the centre terminal,,, is the flash code common to both pots speed and wig wag.

Thank you for the welcome , the wiring from the pot is about 6 inches long and both wires have continuity, the pot was changed with a new like for like pot, but the wig wag pot was second hand ,but checked out ok on the multi meter, maybe a cracked pcb
