Hi I’m new to this forum . Iv got a mobility scooter . With a fault on it . The forward speed is to slow even with the speed control dial turned up to max . However when in reverse the speed will go to max . Iv tested the throttle pod , it seems okay . Then I tested the voltage output to the motor from the controller . It only gets 12 v in forward mode , but in reverse it gets the full 24 v

You may notice all the signals go into the main controller . This both the direction signals and speed signals . Which operate as they should . The only discrepancy is the voltage output to the motor . Which is 24 v in reverse and 12 volts in forward . Normally on these scooters it is slower in reverse and faster in forward .

The voltage on the forward speed which is reduced speed is 12v . On the reverse mode it is 24 v . This ca n only be measured at the outllet terminals of the controller

Is the 'off' (zero speed) position of the throttle still at the factory setting in the pot range, or has it developed an offset from that?
