I think Apple's best days are behind it.

I wonder how long it'll take them to ride down their cash...
I tend to agree. I've been an investor for decades and lately I've been looking to get out. That's mainly for personal reasons more than a commentary on the company's prospects, but there's definitely an element of doubt about their future. I may have waited a bit too long but we'll see. They always seem to do better over Christmas than the naysayers expect.

I'm not wild about current management. They can and will continue to create enormous cash machines, but I'm just not confident they drive share growth like the good old days. With Jobs gone, it feels more like it's "just" a business, not a mission. Tesla now has that good old feeling of a mission on a knife's edge. A much riskier investment but more fun.

I wonder if VW and Apple share engineering staff?
