Use a 2-Channel Oscilloscope with one Channel showing Voltage, and one Channel showing Current.

Measuring current can be dangerous if the motor is powered from the mains.
A current transformer can be safely used for that.

The easiest way is to use a wattmeter such as the Kill-A-Watt.
It directly measures current, voltage, and power factor, as well as watts.
