MeanWell HRP-600-36 no DC output

I have four identical Mean Well HRP-600-36 power supplies, all showing the same fault.
The DC OK LED is off, and there is no DC output.

So far I have checked the following:

  • The input fuse is OK
  • There are no visibly damaged or bulging capacitors
  • On the PFC controller, I measured the voltage between VDD and GND, and it is only 4.8 V

Because of this, the PFC does not start.

Has anyone encountered this issue before with the HRP-600 series, or knows what commonly causes this problem?

Hi,

  • On the PFC controller, I measured the voltage between VDD and GND, and it is only 4.8 V

What is the type of the PFC controller?

It will be difficult to repair the device without circuit diagram.
For testing purposes, an additional 15V power supply could be connected to Vdd and GND.
If the power supply turns on, it will mean that the fault is in the Vdd circuit.

Be careful when doing this test, because there is a dangerous voltage in this circuit
