May I ask a short primer into 2x2 MIMO

Just the telecom company demolished my everyday used tower thus the spare tower is giving.... oh! 8 bits per second with latency 180 000 miliseconds and 97.9% of data packets corrupted. Level -113 dBm, thus seems obvious that I ought to use a good MIMO LTE antenna with a least some 20 dB amplification and all will be back good again. Yet when telecom demands to buy a 2 dB antenna for 170 Eur it seems not so normal, thus I found in shelf one 600-2700 MHz logo-yagi, but it is one not a two. As my SISO/LTE modem have dedicated for 2x2 MIMO, I am bit in disorientation how to apply one single. Clear, one cable v.s. two cables means 2x less speed. If genuine speed is 300 MBps I bet its enough for me with 150 MBps let internet just roar. But then what to do with unused input?? Just to let open so the inner mini-antenna is operated??? May someone give me dummies primer what is circuitry (I mean inner cabling) around those 2x2 MIMO thing in data servers!

Deactualisation of question. Found very cheap and unbelievable good MIMO (doubled) antenna from Chaina, it cost few coins and said have 38 Chineeze decibels :) :) . Anyway paid it and after week received message it is already in my post office. Shall give a feedback do it works at least for 3 dB.
