Hello every one!
can any one help me in understanding MAX485 datasheet?
I m facing problem in drivers output characteristics at Page 06 of max485 datasheet (attached).I am confused about plots between drivers output Current Vs Output Low and output Current Vs Output High voltage. Is output voltage shows Va-Vb?
Why output volage Low swing s from 0 to 5 volts and output voltage high swings from -7Volts to 5 volts

The current (the Y axis on the graph) is positive when the current goes INTO the device and negative when the current comes OUT of the device.

The first graph shows the current when the output is internally driven low but the output pin is externally driven from zero to +12V.
The second graph shows the current when the output is internally driven high but the output pin is externally driven from -7V to +5V.

Both these graphs show the short-circuit current limiting behavior of the output pin.

Thank you sir for your response...
sir Can you please tell me, are the term "out put voltage Low" and "Output voltage High" means VB and VA respectively or V( A-B)
