Makita charger

Hi peeps,

Check the Mosfet and bridge rectifier for shorts,.

With the power off, on Ohms put your meter across the+/- terminals of the bridge rectifier, it should read around 200 ohms or above, check the Mosfet on diode function, across the D/S (middle and right terminals) and it should read open circuit one way and 650mV the other way.

Thanks buddy , which pins of the 3 on the bridge rectify are + and - ? I tested the mosfet and got 0.500 v and OL 16936812024571121199875368368168.jpg

The outer two terminals are+/-, but you can check also on diode test across the centre pins and +/-, it should read open one way and 650mV the other way.
