Technical no problem however if you live in Europe you not allow to change/ add or place extra lights on your car.
( also applicable to tires, colour, engine fuel used ( eq no cheap red diesel )
Position, colour, brightness of the light are subject to Type/model acceptation.
Any change to the car, not in line with the acceptance test, is considered as not allowed and the car will be confiscated.
Be careful when modifying your car if you live in Europe.

I dont live in europe. So Im gravy as long as each individual light functions properly, is well seen from 500 feet, and built sturdily.
Once I glued a PL9 florescent tube to the side of the tank and put it in series with one of the HT leads.

A passing plod seemed very curious - but not enough to bother doing anything about it.
