I wanted to make an internal DC motor of a valve to rotate forward and reverse without a relay.

is it possible?

When the gree wire is triggered a 12V + it operates a relay to change direction. Is it possible to change it without that relay.

 

Are you talking about a relay external to the valve assembly used to activate the green wire or a relay internal to the valve assembly that is switched by the green wire?

Opto isolator and Mosfet/BJT .
Is automatic reversal required?
Or just operated by the GRN conductor?

 

Yes, you could use a MOSFET H-bridge circuit (example circuit below):
There are modules available for that (example).

 

You are going to have to open it up and remove the connections to the existing relay, while keeping the limit switches. Then you need an H-bridge switched by the green wire.

What is so wrong with the way it works now that you would want to go to that trouble?
