I need help with designing a circuit that contains a magnetic reed switch, LED light, and nodeMCU.

 

What does it do?

Show what you have done so far?

I tried to use a tact switch instead of the magnetic reed switch. but the thing it did not work.

 

You could start with a form A, NO reed SW connected to common & a resistor ( 500 ohm ) other
end to + supply (+5 V ). The juncture to MCU which would output state via LED. No magnet , LED on, magnet in place LED off.
