Hey people.
I meed help in one problem...

can u help me out in finding the magnetic field, H, and indictance, L, inside a coil of length L, and N numbers of turn, with cirrent I and diametre d.

HELP URGENT

thankyou

I'd just suggest typing inductance into any search engine. This always works for me. This way you may also get an explanation.No point in giving you an equation that you may not understand.

Thanks

The permeance (A) = (the permeability of the inductor core (u) x the core area(a))/the core length (l)

The electro-motive force (F) = the current (i) x the number of coil turns (N)

The magnetic flux (0) = the permeance (A) x the electro-motive force (F)

The Inductance = (the number of turns x the magnetic flux) / the current

L = (N0) / i

Note that some of these symbols in the brackets are not strictly correct as they are represented by greek symbols and not letters from the Roman alphabet. If you need to know any more let us know.
