Hi guys, thanks for the symbol, I've downloaded and copied the .asy file to the relevant folder, and added the ".lib NE555.sub" statement to my schematic, but

Here is a file, that does not require any statements. Just put it to ........\Documents\LTspiceXVII\lib\sym , reload LTSpice and use it as a regular symbol.

I already have a symbol by that name and it looks remarkably similar.

It is a symbol only that refers to the native LTspice model. I had some models of 555. I can search for them if required.
