Can anyone direct me to a LTspice model of LM358 for the current ver of LTspice?
I have looked all over with no luck.

LTspice mostly only comes with models of ICs made by Analog Devices or the former Linear Technology.
That's the price you pay for using a free piece of software.

How do you import a *.sub file?
There does not appear to be a physical directory for the sub files, just a listing?

Have you checked the lib folder, the sub folder should be in there.
Or you can change the lib extension into sub

The lib\sub folder accepts both .lib and .sub files.
LTspice treats them both as model files.

Which LTspice version?
It depends on the version of LTspice you are using.
