I want to use LT3092 as DAC controlled canstant current source as mention in datasheet but confused how to configure and how i get Iout=5mA
please sombody upload working as in mention configuration and circuit .

I Don't Know how to connect LT3092 for "DAC controlled canstant current source ".
and how it will varying current in that configuration by DAC.

Did you see the schematic in the datasheet?



The current will be on the top of the IC.

Hi Ateeq,

The current source is effectively an amplifier, it will match the voltage it sees at the "set" pin, to its output at "out" which in the example is connected to a 10 ohm resistor.. so @ 1V at the input the amplifier will set the output until it is also at 1V.. @10 Ohm this means that the IC is "sinking" 100mA.
